Bell Canyon, like many luxurious Calabasas communities, is rich in early California history and characterized by rugged steep boulder capped hills and ridges, marked with ancient oak trees and the forested verdant green corridors of Bell Canyon Creek. Bell Canyon is surrounded by thousands of acres of nationally protected parkland.
Designed and created by renowned architect Cliff May, his design embraced its California roots whilst providing a modern community. He created a perfect blend of Indoor/outdoor living the temperate Southern California climate perfectly supported. Cliff May was also commissioned to design the community buildings and Equestrian Center. Staying true to his philosophy, he carefully placed roads and home sites with minimum impact to the natural setting.
The sunsets are awe-inspiring, the natural surroundings breathtaking and the bonus of a strong community to enjoy these with. Keeping it that way has been the mission of the Bell Canyon Association and the many community volunteers who give their time and energy to making Bell Canyon an enjoyable community now and for years to come.
